Shaghetti Sauce 1

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 1 small greel peppeer (diced seeds and veins removed)
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (14 ounces)
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (14 ounces)
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons Italian spice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • dash white vinegar

Directions

Sauté beef, onion and green pepper until beef is brown.

Drain

Put beef onion and pepper in a 3 quart sauce pan. Add tomato sauce and paste. Add the juice from the stewed tomatoes which has been seperated with a sieve. Dice the tomatoes and add to sauce pan. Add spices, sugar , salt and vinegar.

Adjust to taste and simmer 45 minutes stirring frequently
